A beautifully crafted Edwardian walnut sideboard dating from the early 20th century, featuring elegant Art Nouveau styling with deeply carved floral cupboard panels and graceful bow-front drawers.

Constructed in solid walnut with attractive figured grain throughout, the sideboard offers an excellent combination of decorative appeal and practical storage. The centre section houses four graduated drawers with original decorative brass drop handles, flanked by two cupboards, each with an additional drawer above. The carved floral panels are a particularly striking feature, showcasing the flowing naturalistic motifs synonymous with the Art Nouveau movement.

Standing on turned feet with well-proportioned mouldings throughout, this is a versatile piece that works equally well as a dining room sideboard, hallway statement piece or living room storage cabinet.

Its warm walnut tone and restrained decoration allow it to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Very Good Original Condition

There is general wear consistent with over one hundred years of use, including surface marks, minor scratches and age-related patina throughout. The top has been re-finished, while the carved panels remain crisp and well defined. The original brass hardware is present, and a discreet modern magnetic catch has been fitted internally to one cupboard to improve usability. The cabinet is solid, sturdy and ready for everyday use.
