G-Plan Fresco Teak Extending Oval Dining Table, Model 415, England, c.1970
An iconic vintage G-Plan Fresco extending oval dining table dating from the late 1960s to early 1970s. Finished in beautifully figured teak, this elegant dining table showcases the timeless Scandinavian-inspired styling that made the Fresco range one of Britain's most celebrated furniture collections.
The table features G-Plan's distinctive sculptural pedestal base with gently curved sled feet, creating generous legroom while offering a clean, refined silhouette. The oval tabletop extends to 209cm effortlessly via the smooth pull-apart mechanism to reveal a concealed centre extension leaf, which stores neatly beneath the table when not in use.
Retaining its original G-Plan label and model stamp (415), this is an authentic example in very good vintage condition. The teak has developed a rich, warm patina over time and displays beautiful natural grain throughout.
Equally at home in a contemporary interior or a period property, this versatile dining table comfortably seats six when closed and up to eight or ten guests when fully extended.
A timeless British mid-century design from one of the UK's most respected furniture makers.
