Vintage Pine Nine Drawer Chest of Drawers – c.1950s

A substantial vintage pine chest of drawers dating from around the mid-20th century, with a particularly practical nine-drawer configuration.

The chest features three smaller drawers across the top with six deeper drawers below, offering a generous amount of storage while keeping a relatively compact footprint. Constructed predominantly from solid pine, it has a warm golden tone with visible knots, grain variation and the natural character associated with older pine furniture.

The drawers are dovetailed and fitted with simple turned wooden knobs. The chest has a straightforward, unfussy design typical of practical mid-century domestic furniture, making it particularly easy to place in both traditional and more contemporary interiors.

The pine retains an attractive warm, mellow finish.
