Vintage Wrought Iron Demi-Lune Console Table with Painted Pine Top

A characterful vintage demi-lune console table combining a decorative wrought iron base with a heavily distressed painted pine top.

The iron frame is formed with elegant scrolling supports and curled feet, giving the table a light, architectural feel despite its solid construction. The original-style cream painted finish has worn naturally over time, revealing areas of oxidation and darker metal beneath.

The pine top has a similarly aged appearance, with extensive paint loss exposing the warm timber below. This layered, timeworn finish gives the piece a relaxed French country and garden-room character.

Its compact demi-lune shape makes it particularly versatile, working well in a hallway, entrance, conservatory, garden room or living space where a full-depth console would be too large.

Likely dating from the mid-20th century, the table has plenty of decorative presence while remaining practical in scale.

Good Original Condition

The cream-painted pine top has extensive areas of paint loss, cracking, scuffs and surface wear, exposing the natural timber beneath. This is considered part of the character and appearance of the piece rather than something we would recommend restoring.

The wrought iron frame has widespread spotting, oxidation, paint loss and surface rust consistent with age and use.

There are visible joins and age-related marks to the top. The overall structure appears sound from the photographs.
